Our Projects

Cunningham Lane

Client: EB Developments
Location: Cunningham Lane, Taranaki

This project involved significant earthworks, roading, and the installation of comprehensive infrastructure to service the new lots.
Key projects completed or in progress include:

  • Earthworks included the movement of over 50,000m³ of topsoil and clay to shape and prepare the land for development.
  • A key feature of the project was the installation of a 1800mm diameter culvert and a 2.4m wide box culvert over the Wairau Stream, complete with stream enhancement works and the creation of wetland ponds to promote environmental sustainability.
  • In addition to the subdivision, the project involved upgrading a walkway through native bush lands, linking Cunningham Lane down to the reserve by the ocean, improving public access while maintaining the natural landscape.
  • Installation of essential utilities included stormwater, sewer, water, power, gas, and fibre, ensuring that all 38 lots are equipped for modern living and development.

The project also involved working closely with Iwi representatives, particularly during the construction of the two stream culverts, to respect cultural values and comply with environmental standards.

Our team’s ability to coordinate these complex components while maintaining high standards of quality and safety demonstrates our commitment to excellence. The result is a well-executed subdivision that meets modern infrastructure needs while contributing to the environmental integrity of the Taranaki region.
